I recently met with new clients in their late 30s and early 40s respectively. Both have very high-paying jobs, a mortgage and two school aged children.

They know they earn good incomes  but have never taken the time to fully review what they have been doing financially. They have a couple of investment properties with mortgages attached to each as well as a couple of super funds each.

They’re now at a stage in their lives where they want to review and make sure that what they are currently doing is optimal and that they’re on track to achieving a comfortable retirement.

Whilst they know they are doing something right, they want to ensure this eventually translates into a comfortable retirement whilst being able to give their kids the best of everything, which includes a private school education.

We worked together to consolidate all of their super funds  which now means ease of management as well as a reduction in fees. This also now means that their investment strategy is consistent with their objective, which wasn’t the case previously.

We also reviewed their personal risk cover to ensure that if anything was to happen to either of them, this wouldn’t limit their ability to achieve their financial goals as well as maintain their current lifestyle.

Seeking professional advice is something they knew they had to do but never got around to it.

They’re now confident they have all the correct foundations in place. They’re very excited about their financial future.
